Our Mission
Canal Life is a not-for-profit organization established in 2022 by Joe and Kennedy Haight to enhance and promote the historic downtown district of Canal Fulton, OH as a regional destination for art, dining, entertainment, and outdoor recreation. Our mission is to create a visually appealing, prosperous, and inclusive downtown through continuous cleaning and beautification, programming, marketing, economic development and advocacy.
Joe and Kennedy Haight met at The Speakeasy Coffee Shop in downtown Canal Fulton. They had an instant connection and quickly became best friends.
Joe and Kennedy spent much of their time together in Canal Fulton, growing closer and often talking about big plans for the future. They were married and built a home in Canal Fulton in 2019. Along with three dogs and a cat, they raise three children, Max, Penny, and Parker. The Haight’s love their life in Canal Fulton and want to spread their positivity and vision throughout the community.
